Ashlee Simpson Would Love To Go Back On ‘SNL’

Gregory Ellwood of MSN’s Hollywood Hitlist caught up with Ashlee Simpson, who talked about another appearance on ‘Saturday Night Live’ after last season’s lip-synching fiasco. “It hasn’t been confirmed, but I would love to go back and do ‘Saturday Night Live,'” she said. “It’s not necessarily about revenge on the world, but for myself. I want to perform, but I’d love to act and make fun of myself as well. I was having voice problems, but I really learned that you can’t go out the night before a show. You gotta be really strict, you can’t eat certain things.” The story at msn.com has since been removed.

She’s right about one thing. Singing on SNL WOULD be revenge!

revenge on who? lol, SNL didn’t make her lipsync and dance silly on stage

I don’t see what revenge has to do with anything. It’s not the world’s fault that she had voice problems, and didn’t do the smart thing by NOT performing with a bad throat. I think the public would have forgave her for that, but there’s no excuse to continuously perform with a bad throat and make a fool of herself. I can tell that she has learned her lesson by now, so hopefully it will pay off.

Good! Because…’, ‘I would never watch SNL again if they let that fraud have another chance to perform, and I damn sure would stop drinking Budweiser if they would have the nerve to follow up her act with one of those “True Music” promos. Thank you SNL for having some standards, at least (although no where near the standards you used to have for the bands you booked).
