Ashley Tisdale: I’m Not Just That Disney Girl
While making her new album ‘Guilty Pleasure’, ‘High School Musical’ star Ashley Tisdale stopped by Billboard.com’s studios to chat on camera about growing up, being herself in her new music, and why she’s “not just that Disney girl.”
“People perceive me as my ['HSM'] character, as this blonde, bubbly, cute girl, but I’m 23 years old and my original hair color is brunette,” Tisdale explained. “So when I dyed my hair, I felt a little bit more edgier. I was just like, I need to share this with people. There’s a different side of me that people haven’t seen. The best part about doing an album is that you get to be yourself and talk through the music.”
