Groovevolt.com reports that Atlantic Records has been trying to get Craig David to do a duet to help kick-start his sophomore album, but he has other ideas — as he told Radio 1 earlier this week. “Atlantic Records has been hassling David to duet with Jennifer Lopez,” a source said. “but he wants to break in the U.S. without the help of others.” The source added, “He was also scheduled to duet with Monica for her upcoming album but missed the studio session. While David claims he was in Europe, label execs are saying they believe he missed the appointment on purpose.”
