Attorney Says J.Lo And Marc’s Marriage Is Legit
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that despite claims that a 60-day waiting period was required for divorces in the Dominican Republic, top Chicago divorce attorney Herbert A. Glieberman revealed “only one of the litigants need be present” and “that person can depart [the Dominican Republic] any time after noon on the day of their appearance in court. After a 24-hour waiting period, either party to the divorce can remarry.” Since Marc Anthony fit both of those obligations, his marriage to Jennifer Lopez, which the couple still hasn’t confirmed took place, is legit.
