Mathew Schwartz of The News Journal of Delaware reviewed Avril Lavigne’s concert at Philadelphia’s First Union Spectrum on Saturday night. He wrote, “Though she amps up the punkitude for her live shows, she has as much Lilith Fair in her sound as she does Van’s Warped Tour. At her best, she brings a sound and style something like Natalie Merchant crossed with Alanis Morrisette.”
