Avril Lavigne Combines Intensity And Indifference
David Lindquist of the Indianapolis Star reviewed Avril Lavigne’s concert at Conseco Fieldhouse on Thursday, giving the Canadian teen a 2 1/2 star review. He writes, “If Lavigne has everything she’s shooting for — say, hit records and 10,000 paying customers in Indianapolis — would it hurt her to reveal a hint of happiness or passion or even disgust onstage? Lavigne performed songs from debut album “Let Go,” so transparent in her affection for some and her indifference to others.”
