Avril Lavigne Copes With Stardom

Hector Saldaña San Antonio Express-News interviewed guitarist Jeff Stinco of Simple Plan not about his group, but Avril Lavigne, who they currently are opening for on tour. Stinco says, “She’s a great person. She’s got really nice, beautiful values.” He added, “I wouldn’t want to be in her shoes right now. She’s so young … She’s always under the camera. It’s got to be hard for a young girl. Just having a boyfriend or even a little love affair is a huge deal for her. Like it just can’t happen.”
