Avril Lavigne Has No Say In The ‘Sk8er Boi’ Movie

Teen People talked with about her job, Hilary Duff, and her “just-friend” Deryck Whibley. “I think there really are young girls experiencing things that a decade ago people weren’t experiencing,” she said of the tune ‘Don’t Tell Me’. “Have you seen the movie ‘Thirteen’? There’s just more pressure than there was before. But I haven’t struggled with that, I’ve always been a tough cookie.” As for Hilary Duff, Avril complained “She said something like, ‘Avril doesn’t like her fans dressing like her’ – which wasn’t true. I got pissed off at her for saying that, because it’s not her place to talk about me. It doesn’t have anything to do with her. So when a reporter asked me about it, I basically said, ‘Hilary, shut your mouth. Or else I’ll go over and do it for you.’ I don’t really think about it that much, and I don’t really care either. People think of me as being someone who says whatever she wants to say. If you want to look at that as a bitch or if you want to look at it as a strong person, that’s up to you.” As for her part in the ‘Sk8er Boi’ film, Avril revealed, “It has nothing to do with me. I just wrote the song, and I have no say over it. Isn’t that stupid?”

Misses Mommy

August 9, 2004 – Ireland On-Line reports that sadly admitted that she missed her mom and the next time she has time off she wants to spend time with her. “I still have a room at my parents’ house,” Lavigne said. “I need to see my mother regularly because I miss her hugs. The next time I have some time off, I’ll go and see her. I miss my mother every day now that I have to take care of myself and be independent. In the beginning, I ate whatever. I didn’t really exercise. Now, I understand that I need to take care of myself, that I have to eat healthy.”

Why people think dancing is all the rage is beyond me. rather have singing live and a band in the background who cares if she stands still, again dancing around at all that maybe for small kids. (just an opinion). and she never said she was ‘punk’ who really cares what’s punk and what ain’t punk if it was up to every person no one would be cause everyone has a different idea on what that is.what is punk debates are so old.

This girl needs to seriously get over every person that she’s pissed off with. She seems to have this attitude that the whole world needs to bow down to her knees and not have the right to diss her while she can complain at whoever whenever she wants. That’s just annoying, she just seems to get mad at everybody for the most childish reasons. And as for the “Sk8er Boi” movie, what did she expect? Just because it has the title of the song she wrote doesn’t mean that she deserves to be Steven Spielberg behind the scenes.

I think she’s going through a transition. She wants to be like Britney and that’s why she bashes her. But I do actually like Avril. She’s just a bit confused cos she’s young. I think she’s actually a repressed hoe and that’s all that’s wrong with her. Once she gets a good shag and has a good rodgering she will be ok and content. Dunno bout Hilary Duff, she just bores me.

Should We give Avril some cheese with her whine? Every generation of teenagers thinks that they have it “so much harder”than the generation before them. If anything, they just get more spoiled. Teenagers of every generation have always had very similar (drugs, guys, parents, depression)problems..the only difference it the setting. And they (we)realize too late that those “problems” as they call them are nothing compared to being out in the real world.

she criticizes Britney in 98% of her interviews since the media decided to pay attention to her snobbyness. without Britney and other pop stars to bag on, the little girl has no purpose in the entertainment world…she may write her own songs, but that doesn’t mean they are good. “let’s talk this over, it’s not like we’re dead” . . . . yeah, genius. I am a real writer, and I am insulted by her claim to being a ‘talented writer’. barely rhyming does *not* make you a writer. hardly makes you a lyricist, even.
