Avril Lavigne Isn’t Worried About Winning Awards

United Press International reports that ahead of Sunday’s American Music Awards, Avril Lavigne isn’t worried about facing off against Sheryl Crow and Jessica Simpson in the Favorite Pop/Rock Female category. Lavigne said winning “is not something you should take personally. I just look at it like an extra pat on the back, ‘Good job!’ If you don’t win, it doesn’t mean you’re a loser.
