Avril Lavigne Keeps It Real In Tour Opener

Elizabeth Chorney-Booth of Chart magazine reviewed ’s show at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario. She writes, “Lavigne’s show, scantily more than an hour long and (despite some surprisingly rockin’ moments) heavy on the commercial pop, probably wouldn’t impress many 20-something live music addicts – but coming from the world’s biggest pop star, it was a triumph. There were no costume changes, no dancing, no pre-recorded tracks, no lip-synching, no pyrotechnics – it was a real concert.” Read more.
