She writes, “Lavigne’s show, scantily more than an hour long and (despite some surprisingly rockin’ moments) heavy on the commercial pop, probably wouldn’t impress many 20-something live music addicts – but coming from the world’s biggest pop star, it was a triumph. There were no costume changes, no dancing, no pre-recorded tracks, no lip-synching, no pyrotechnics – it was a real concert.” Read more.
