Avril Lavigne Performs For Sydney Students

The Daily Telegraph reports that Avril Lavigne gave 500 students a performance at Sydney’s Westfields Sports High School, playing some basketball “backstage” before her gig that was met with deafening screams. Todd Avery, 15, said she was the coolest artist on the planet. “She rocks hard, she’s so cool. I want to be her sk8ter boi.” Lavigne plans on returning for a tour in the country in March ’05.
