For the month of May, Avril Lavigne received an astounding 193,443 searches, more than Christina Aguilera, the Backstreet Boys, or even rivals Michelle Branch and Vanessa Carlton combined. The domination would likely be even high if not for the difficulties in spelling both her first and last names. The most searched song lyric for the Canadian pop star was ‘Complicated’ with 3,294 queries. “Avril Lavinge” led the misspellings for the month with 5,838 queries.
