The Lycos 50 is out today and as Avril Lavigne climbs the album charts, she climbs in search requests as well, putting her within striking distance of perennial pop champ Britney Spears. With Britney in the #4 spot and Avril in the #11 spot, Spears’ reign as the queen of pop may be in trouble. Shakira lands at #20, Jennifer Lopez at #27, and Ashanti at #49.
