Avril Lavigne Stars In Olympic Closing Ceremony

CBC reports that Canadian pop superstar Avril Lavigne will perform during the Closing Ceremony of the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Turin, Italy. She is featured in a special eight-minute production designed to celebrate Canada and point the way to the 2010 Winter Games, which will be held in Vancouver.
