Avril Lavigne Tops UK Album Charts

Robbie Williams, who enjoyed a six-week reign at #1 with ‘Escapology’, was knocked off the top spot by Avril Lavigne’s ‘Let Go’, the first time the Canadian singer’s album has hit the top spot in the UK since its October release. Lavigne kicks off her first UK tour in March, where tickets sold out in days and two more dates had to be added.
