Avril Lavigne’s Donation Keeps Cancer Battle Rocking
Barnet & Potters Bar Times reports Avril Lavigne is lending her support to five-year-old Samuel Shekarchi’s fight against cancer, donating a signed drum skin used in her performance at this year’s Brit Awards and allowing it to be auctioned off to Barnet & Potters Bar Times readers to raise money for Samuel’s treatment. Samuel’s uncle, Roy Almeida, said: “He’s not doing very well at the moment. They’re waiting for the temperature to go down so they can start the chemotherapy. We’re hoping for an improvement.”
