Avril Lavigne’s New Album And Single Release Date
February 3, 2004 – Backbone, Avril Lavigne’s official fanclub, confirmed that Avril’s new album will be released May 25th, and that her first single will be ‘Don’t Tell Me’. This song was produced by Butch Walker and Tom Lord Alge and will be shipped to radio stations on Febuary 16th.
Will Avril Lavigne Change Her Sound On Sophomore Album?
January 31, 2004 – Entertainment Weekly caught up with Avril Lavigne and asked the singer if she planned on going a different musical direction than on her debut, most notably her breakout hit ‘Complicated’. “No, I was just writing songs that felt good,” she said. “‘Complicated’ came from me — and a couple of other people — writing that song, so it has my style in it. That’s my writing style — with a couple of other people’s writing style — but you’re gonna feel a tiny bit of that because it’s the same artist. I’m not gonna completely change myself. I’m just going for more, like, stuff that I feel more.”
Avril Lavigne’s New Video
January 31, 2004 – According to AvrilLavigne.com.br, Avril Lavigne will be shooting her new video in the March 2nd and 3rd. More information will be given in the last week of February. The only thing known so far is that the video will be shot in Los Angeles.
