Avril Lavigne’s Surly & Just A Little Girly

Jim Farber of the New York Daily News reviewed Avril Lavigne’s concert at Nassau Coliseum on Monday night. Farber writes, “Live, her singing came off as slightly punkier than on album, with more blunted phrases and yelling. But it quickly became clear that this was somewhat unintentional. In the louder songs, she simply had trouble holding the tune. As a live performer, Lavigne is pretty green.” Read more.
