Alan Boyle of MSNBC reports the backers of a bid to put *NSYNC’s Lance Bass into orbit said Tuesday that they are pressing ahead with the project, though chances for his flight to the international space station in October are slim. They now hope Bass can make an April flight. The frictions over Bass’ bid and the wider plan for a space reality television show, also reportedly involving Pepsi, may lead to a shift in the composition of the team pushing the effort forward, several sources told MSNBC.com.
