Backstreet Boys Mentioned On TRL Today

Fans who watched TRL today said that the news was about the Backstreet Boys. One of the VJs acknowledged that AJ McLean is doing a solo album, and he will be doing it as Johnny No Name. The group album would not be coming out this year because 4 out of the 5 guys are doing solo albums. As previously reported, Nick Carter is doing his second solo album. Brian Littrell is doing a pop/gospel type album. Howie Dorough’s album will be in both Spanish and English, like a Ricky Martin or Enrique Iglesias type thing. And now AJ is bringing back Johnny No Name. Fans will remember that way before Nick ever decided to go solo, AJ had already done a major, successful tour performing some of his rated-R, bad ass British rock material under the alias of Johnny No Name.
