Backstreet Boys / Nick Carter Vs. *NSYNC / Justin Timberlake

I’ve been on popdirt.com for less than a week, and already I’ve seen more immaturity than I can stand in one lifetime. Now, I always wondered why fans of Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC were always made fun of, but now I see why. There is nothing but petty arguing back and fourth between the two sides. And the things they aruge about, aren’t even sufficent. ‘Justin’s album is going to do better than Nick’s!’ ‘No, it’s not. Nick’s is real music, Justin sucks.’ Blah blah blah. You sound like 5 year olds.
Personally, I prefer Jusitn over Nick, but that’s just my opinion. Though out of respect for ALL people who make it in the record industry, which is a VERY hard industry to get into, let alone experience continued success, I am not going to put him down. Let me ask this question, how many people who have purchased Now or Never have purchased Justified? Not many. So why go on to say that Justified is way better than Now or Never or vice versa when you have no way to compare the two? Even moreso, as both of them have said, these are two different types of music! Justin’s is R&B based and Nick’s is rock, so why keep putting them up against each other?
I think we all need to be a bit more mature about this whole deal, and if we’re going to debate over the music, than let it be just that, the quality of the music, not the people themselves. Oh, and stop wishing death upon artists. That’s just cruel, and if you have that much animosity towards a person that you don’t even know, then you should seek professional help.
