Backstreet Boys star Howie Dorough called into the Los Angeles radio station 102.7 KIIS-FM Tuesday night to talk about the return of the Backstreet Boys. Howie told JoJo, the DJ, that the group is in town for the Billboard Awards. They’re going to walk the red carpet and do a lot of press, basically get the word out that they’re back. They’re also making demos, then they’ll hit the studio on January 4th. Howie said that the solo albums have been put off. They want the group album to come first because the time is now right for the group. They want to get the group album out as soon as possible. Then after they tour, they’ll put out the solo albums. JoJo told Howie to give AJ McLean hell for not returning his phone calls for the past 6 years. Howie laughed. Howie also dropped a bomb when he said that the Backstreet Boys are once again being managed by Johnny Wright. And now, the Backstreet Boys have been added to Johnny Wright’s WEG website.
