Backstreet Boys Take Fans Back To Glory Days
Andrew Murfett of The Age was on hand for the Backstreet Boys concert at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia on Thursday (February 2), before a sell-out crowd of 12,000. “The crowd, overwhelmingly female, screamed in delight at video montages showing the band’s glory days,” Murfett writes. “Although there’s now receding hairlines and expanding waistlines among the boys, hits such as ‘The One’, ‘Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely’, ‘Larger than Life’, ‘Shape of My Heart’, and ‘I Want It That Way’ had the crowd screaming wildly.” Read more.
