Backstreet Boys Tour Opener A Big Pop Show Done Well

Deborah Wilker of the Hollywood Reporter reviewed the Backstreet Boys’ tour kickoff at the Sound Advice Amphitheater on Friday (July 22) in West Palm Beach, Florida. Wilker writes, “Other than the fact that [Nick] Carter still can’t sing at all and should not be thrust forward as if he can — he was alarmingly out of tune at times — the breezy 95-minute set was a textbook example of a big pop show done well: earnest presentation, pretty melodies and, blessedly, no crotch-grabbing.”

WOW its amazing how of that entire article this was the part showcased….lol. A big pop show done well, that’s all that is required. As long as the fellas continue to do quality shows and quality music even the critics have to give them credit. This critics sounds as if shes upset that she really couldn’t find anything to moan and complain about its almost as if she was disappointed that she couldn’t tear them apart….haahahahahahaha.

Hey what happened I tried to go in and reread the article and now it’s saying its unavailable. Well basically shes giving them a good review she seems angry about having to say anything nice about the fellas though….lol. All she could find to pick on was Nicks voice oh well I’m not a hugh fan of Nicks voice either, but compared to most in this industry he at least can carry a tune and carry it well, he also has a pretty good range. I definitly like it more when he sings in a deeper range. So far the fans are giving the concert really good reviews and those are the ppl Im listening to cause if the fans are saying the shows are good then I know they are doing well. Can’t wait till august we’ve got tickets to two shows woohooo KTBSPA

“he was alarmingly out of tune AT TIMES…” Well, duh. It was 100 degrees outside for that show. I wouldn’t be surprised if all of them didn’t sound as good as they normally do. Nobody would.

Nick sounded good in Atlanta, and the show was amazing…’, ‘The fans loved the show and loved Nick’s voice. Critics just don’t get that the fans really don’t care about their opinions, as if it will change our minds. I don’t see why people care so much that we like them any ways. How does it effect them?? Yeah it doesn’t.
