Barons Get Merchandising Boost Thanks To Britney Spears

Britney Spears wore a black Birmingham Barons baseball cap for the video to her new single ‘Everytime’, and the minor league team’s general manager and president Tony Ensor tells The Associated Press the organization already has noticed a slight increase in hat sales from the Spears connection. “You can see a blip. It’s not Earth shattering,” said Ensor. Asked why Spears chose the Barons hat for the video, Ensor responded: “We can only assume it’s because the `B’ stands for Britney.”
