Bass Negotiating Terms Of Flight Contract With Russians

Associated Press reports *NSYNC star Lance Bass is is working to finalize his contract with the Russian space agency, Russian officials said Monday. Space agency spokesman Vyacheslav Mikhailichenko said Bass has “serious intentions” and that they are negotiating terms of the flight contract. As for the lack of time Bass would have to train, an unnamed space agency official said the autumn mission could be postponed because of the fuel-line cracks that recently grounded the U.S. space shuttle fleet. He said a delay could give Bass more time to train, though *NSYNC fans likely wouldn’t be happy about the added time the group perhaps would be sidelined as a result.
