Bass, Rayburn High *NSYNC With Space Program

The Pasadena Citizen reports that the Sam Rayburn High School student body erupted in deafening screams when *NSYNC star Lance Bass took the Rayburn auditorium stage. One even held up a sign stating “Marry me, Lance!”
After presenting the telescopes to astronomy teacher Karen Stocco and two of her students, Bass tried telling students to enroll in science courses and follow their dreams, but his short speech was barely audible over their thunderous yells. Bass said he hoped his words would “turn some people into space fanatics” and emphasized reaching the high school students now while they are planning their college careers.
