Behind The Scenes For The Saturdays ‘Higher’ Performance On ITV

Una Healy talks about her birthday celebrationThe latest flip video from takes fans behind-the-scenes of the British girl group’s performance for ITV of their new single ‘Higher’. While the girls sat patiently in hair and make-up, their boredom made way for viewer entertainment, with Mollie King offering an impersonation of Ant and Dec, Una Healy offering highlights of her fun-packed birthday celebrations, and Frankie Sandford losing a shoe on stage.

“I had the best birthday weekend ever,” Una said about her birthday. “It was so good. From start to finish. I just loved it. I flew over on Friday and I went out to RTL to the Late Late Show to have a chat, and then we performed Cyndi Lauper’s song ‘Time After Time’. My mother had a few words. My sister in the audience did as well. Then Saturday, Ben flew over and then we went to a family dinner. Rochelle WisemanThen I met up with all my friends and family, and we all went clubbing and had a really big night out and then Sunday I chilled all day and my father made me my favorite food, crab claws, I now it sounds bad but I love crab claws and garlic butter and a small steak. I just chilled out then went back on the plane and shedded a tear.”

Una then joked with Rochelle Wiseman about one of her bad habits. “Do you know what Rochelle likes to do,” Una asked. “She likes to talk and eat with her mouth full. I said that in the Bliss magazine interview. You ask her a question, and she won’t talk until it’s in her mouth. She’s like those American actresses.”

Mollie King sits as her hair rollers are removedRochelle then talked about their busy week of posing. “This week The Sats have got a shoot for Closer magazine, ‘X Factor’ magazine. We did two shoots at the start of the week, More and Now mag. We’ve also got a writing session and we’ve got a book signing on Saturday.”

Explaining what they were doing at the moment, Mollie King, who had rollers in her hair, said, “We are at ITV. We’re doing a performance for ITV and it’s really cool because Ant & Dec are coming to greet us after we’ve been singing and dancing, and I absolutely love them.”

Frankie Sandford talks backstage at ITVNext to talk was Frankie Sandford, who said, “We’re just about ten minutes until we to go on stage, so everyone is trying to get ready, makeup going to get finished as always, and I can’t put my dress on because it’s wet. So yeah, we’re ready to be on in a minute and everyone’s gonna be in that last minute rush, stressed.”
