Ben Affleck Thanks Britney Spears

Ben Affleck has told Radio 1 he is grateful to Britney Spears for finally taking the spotlight off his relationship with Jennifer Lopez. He was at a celebrity screening of his new film ‘Paycheck’ in London last night (Monday), although only Michelle from Liberty X and boyfriend Andy Scott Lee were there – Jen didn’t show as she’s recording an album at the moment, and we weren’t allowed to ask questions about her. But he was happy to talk about the publicity surrounding them both, and he has a lot to thank Britney for: “Britney, yeah, I’m going to send her a check. I can’t tell you how pleased I was, it was finally the big one that’s pushed it off. Which is really nice – nice for me. The poor thing!”
