Benet Talks Of ‘Glitter’ Co-star Mariah Carey
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel talked to Eric Benet ahead of the release of Glitter this weekend where he revealed Mariah Carey gave no signs of her impending breakdown.
Benet told the JS, “I noticed nothing but normal behavior on Mariah’s part, at least verbally. She conveyed some distress about a house she was having remodeled, and some other biz-related matters. But she didn’t seem like someone on the verge of a breakdown.”
Benet adds that Mariah wasn’t one to travel with bodyguards, much to his surprise. Carey told him, “She told me (about security), ‘If you show it, it just encourages attention,’ and I pretty much agree with that approach.”
