Us Weekly’s Carolyn Shafer tells Extra that Ben Affleck’s mother Chris could be one factor in the decision to call off the wedding to Jennifer Lopez. Shafer says, “Ben’s mom, Chris, was very worried about Ben marrying Jennifer. She was afraid that he would be living his life in a fishbowl.” Meanwhile, they report that upon closer inspection, Affleck wasn’t holding the hand of his assistant Chay Carter.
