Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Thursday night, “I’m coming in this morning, I go past the Promises rehab center. The marquee says, ‘Britney Spears, one night only.’ Big sign. … I’m sure you heard by now. For the third time in less than a week, Britney Spears has checked into rehab. It’s the third time in less than a week. Now, typical stay in rehab is what? 30 days? To which Britney said, ‘Well, not in a row.’ … Remember the old days when pop stars acted normally, like Michael Jackson? What happened?”
