The Factor with Bill O’Reilly had entertainment writer Genie Wolf on the show Monday where they talked about some of the disappointing acts of 2001. Included was talk about Michael Jackson’s weak sales of Invincible, Mariah Carey’s movie flop in ‘Glitter’, and the lack of interest on the unauthorized Madonna biographies. Wolf said Mariah wasn’t really to blame for the Glitter flop, “I went to see that movie, I was angry, not because I spent $7.50 but angry because Mariah Carey is a great talent and got no support whatsoever. The script was nonsense, the costumes were bad. They didn’t even make her look good. They didn’t give her great songs to sing.”
