Black Eyed Peas Get Mainstream ‘Love’

The New York Post caught up with Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas about hooking up with *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake on the hit ‘Where Is The Love’. “Justin played us some stuff, and then I played him a [(version of] ‘Where Is the Love’,” Taboo said. “The lyrics were complete, but we didn’t have a hook for it. I played it for him over the phone, and two days later he called me and [said] he had a hook.” As for being able to play the song in front of 20,000 on the Justified & Stripped tour, he says, “To be able to perform in front of 20,000 kids a night singing ‘Where Is the Love’ is a great opportunity.”
