Bowling Alley Manager Fumes Over Cheap Timberlake
More details have emerged from Justin Timberlake’s visit with pals to the Yerba Buena Bowling Center. The bowling alley’s manager Barbara McBride tells the San Francisco Chronicle that she kept the lanes open an extra 2 1/2 hours last month when a representative of the *NSYNC star called a half hour before closing time and asked if he could bring friends. Her whole staff agreed to stay late and serve the Justin and pals, and that’s why she was even more upset when “the first thing out of their mouth was, ‘Could you give us a deal?’ We usually charge $600 an hour for a private party.” As for the pay-per-autograph claim, Justin’s pals said he’d sign two bowling pins for $20 each.
