Brian McFadden sees himself as the next Robbie Williams after leaving Westlife, as Robbie did with Take That, and launching a solo career. “So many people wrote off Robbie Williams when he left Take That, and I think lots of people are left with egg on their face when Robbie became the biggest star in England,” McFadden said. “I think people are giving me that chance because they don’t want to make, you know, just in case anything does happen and I do become successful. I think they’re just saying ‘Let’s just give him a chance and not write him off yet’.”
