Brian McFadden Chats With ‘Scotland Today’

When Brian McFadden spoke to ‘Scotland Today’ just a few months ago, he said that you wanted to give up Westlife to spend more time with your wife and kids. However, his marriage to Kerry has since very publicly broken up. Asked if he thought it been too much of a price to pay for his solo success, he said: “I don’t connect it to it at all. I think whatever happens behind closed doors in your personal life, you know my music career and my work doesn’t really affect that. Neither of us can ever blame our work, we always worked. I was busier when I met Kerry, you know the very first day I met her, than I was over the last six months and so I’ve had more time with her over the last six months than I have in six years.”
