Former Westlife star Brian McFadden opened up to News of the World after coming under fire for telling estranged wife Kerry Katona he had found love with Delta Goodrem. Kerry had earlier bragged to Brian about snogging Robbie Williams and Dan Corsi. “I waited months before anything happened and people are now saying Delta’s a love cheat, which is simply not true,” McFadden insisted. “I rang Kerry on Christmas Eve and she kept asking me if I was seeing anyone. I didn’t want to lie to her so I told her I’d snogged Delta. As soon as I told her, she said she had to go. And now we’re not really talking. I’ve done nothing wrong—it was her who kept asking me. I asked her not to say anything, but she has. The thing with Kerry is that she always tries to make people like her by making them feel sorry for her. She needs to stop doing that. She’s hurting other people. It’s not right.”
