Bride Britney Spears Gets Hometown Break
The New York Daily News reports Kentwood is closing ranks behind their favorite daughter Britney Spears after she sparked an international uproar by marrying hometown hunk Jason Alexander on a whim – and then dumping him. “Britney is our hometown star, and Jason is our hometown guy,” said Charlene Blades, who is friends with both. “Give them a break. They’re kids, and we’re proud of them no matter what mistakes they’ve made.” Nyla’s Burger Basket owner Nyla Price added, “I’m proud of her, I love her and she likes to eat here.”
