Britney Doesn’t Want To End Up Like Mariah Carey
Sky News reports Britney Spears has admitted she doesn’t want to end up like Mariah Carey, who she calls a pop diva “who believed her own hype.” Britney said of Mariah’s breakdown, “I think that sometimes stars start believing they are a goddess or that they are this god-like figure.”
Spears added, “When I’m on stage and I’m singing, that’s my time to perform and be an actress. But when I’m off stage, I’m just like everybody else. You need to separate your career and your life. This is not my life, this doesn’t mean everything to me.”
