The Daily Star reports that Britney Spears has kicked husband Kevin Federline out of their Malibuy mansion and has contacted her lawyer, looking into a trial separation. “Brit’s had all she can stand of the problems with Kevin. She needs a rest from the war,” a source told the tabloid. In addition, Kevin has been furious with Britney for her phone calls to ex-lover Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC. The source added that Britney “explained to Kevin that the split would be temporary, that it would give them some breathing room to sort out their problems.
