According to the Boston Herald, campers at the Britney Spears Camp for the Performing Arts are upset with the singer after she failed to show up to South Yarmouth as she had done every prior year. Spears’ reasoning was a commitment to appear at the MTV Video Music Awards — but she never showed there either. Instead, the kids put on their planned show for Britney’s mother Lynne. “Britney would have loved this,” she told the kids at the end of their show.
