Britney Spears Avoids Dixie Chick Label By Trusting Bush

Our previous poll asking if you agree with belief that Americans should trust Bush “in every decision he makes” had 41% believe the calculating singer just said it because she was worried after seeing what happened to the Dixie Chicks for being critical of the President. 35% said it was the duty of Americans to question their leaders, while 24% said they agreed with Britney’s thoughts and that Americans should rally around the President.

Our new poll asks which female pop star do you think will age the most gracefully.

These polls are a waste of time, it’s just a popularity contest. These polls are just kids voting for their favorite artists over and over again.

I agree. It’s all about Christina vs. Britney and Justin vs. Nick

Oh my gosh I can’t believe some idiots actually believe they should “trust the president in every decision he makes.” What the hell? Presidents aren’t perfect.. they are human just as you and I and we all know that they are prone to dishonesty. It is definitely our job as American citizens to question the actions of our president, especially at a time like this when our security is at stake. Bush isn’t a damn king, he doesn’t and shouldn’t have the final say about anything. All of his decisions affect our lives in one way or another and there’s just no way I would put my life in any human’s hands.. and by the way.. yes.. I think George Bush Jr. SUCKS ASS.. he’s stupid and always has an ulterior motive..and you can take that to the white house.

You people are seriously paranoid if you think that just because someone says they trust the president means that they don’t want to be ‘Dixie Chick-ed’. I don’t like Britney, but she’s done things in the past that she knew would hurt her career (smoking, admitting to sleeping w/ Justin), but she admitted to it anyway (admittedly, after lying about the thing w/ Justin, but that’s her personal life). I trust George Bush completely.

Well.. I don’t care for Bush nor a lot of what he stands for,, but all anybody can do right now is trust that he will make the right decisions.. there is nothing we can do about it until his term is up, and hopefully we won’t make the same mistake twice… I don’t think she was saying anything positive or negative about him.. but what else can we do but hope and trust that he will do the right things.

I think Britney best expressed her opinion without being scathing or anything like that towards President Bush. I don’t entirely agree with Britney on this matter, but I’m not going to rush to judgment on her on this matter. She’s entitled to her opinion, as is everyone else in this country. (Personally, I don’t think she gives politics much of a second thought, but if she feels more secure putting her faith in our president, then more power to her.)

Y’all people who “hate bush” are so uninformed on things. did you know that the states won by Gore the 2000 presidential election had a 13.2 murder per 100,000 capita ratio as Bush’s had 2.1. Also, did you know that the people who voted for Bush live on their own land and the ones that voted for Gore live on the government’s land as they LIVE off the government. Hmm… there’s some food for though. Democrats are nothing more that lying, weaseling scrum bags. I totally respect Britney for saying this.

I love Britney but I don’t agree with her view. But that doesn’t change my opinion of her. Bush is a psycho dumbass. I don’t think she did it for fear of being Dixie Chicked, she probably really thinks that like a lot of other naive people do.

And Republicans are greedy, selfish, heartless, rich bastards.

I am a Britney fan but I don’t agree with her view on Bush. I don’t think bad of her for thinking that, we just have different opinions that’s all. What she thinks is what half the country thinks and how a lot of people are raised-unfortunately. She probably doesn’t think about politics that much either. Presidents are human, they lie, they have their own agendas- so why should we trust them?

“You people are seriously paranoid if you think that just because someone says they trust the president means that they don’t want to be ‘Dixie Chick-ed’.” Uh…hun…it’s just a poll! We didn’t create it. Nobody takes it seriously, and after all, it’s also just an invalid opinion that can’t be proven right or wrong. That’s good that you trust the president, but a little poll is not gonna change Britney’s overall opinion about our president, it’s no big deal.

I agree. A president is not a God. Presidents make mistakes and will make mistakes, even when the stake of a whole country is in their hands. I don’t trust the president at all, which doesn’t mean that I dislike or passionately hate him. I don’t put real humanitarian trust into anyone but God…no matter what decision (bad and good) that will be put all because of the president, God will still put fate on that, and that’s what I most believe will decide the life and freedom of our country.

Exactly…A poll..which people answer their opinion…I never said it’s going to change her opinion..the point of that was just because Britney said something doesn’t mean it’s because she doesn’t want to be ‘Dixie Chick-ed’.
