Britney Spears Bodyguards Upset With Thorpe Question

The Herald Sun reports during Hot 30′s interview with Britney Spears Thursday night, the singer’s bodyguards moved in on local swimming ace Ian Thorpe after he attempted to question Spears on the crowd backlash at last month’s London premiere of ‘Crossroads.’ Still, Spears herself told Thorpe, “I think you’re really sweet.” Meanwhile, there was some criticism of Britney’s short set at Sydney’s Fox Studios. One of the 5,000 in the crowd, 16 year-old Eleni Petinos, moaned, “It was disappointing that her last two songs were mimed, I would have liked to see her perform them live.”
