If it was a “JOKE” shouldn’t she have been laughing about it all along?

  2. ballersfantasy says:

I think laughing about it all is all she needs to be doing now. She doesn’t owe me or anybody else besides her family explanations for whatever happened. She looked great that night by the way.

I doubt it was a joke, that’s just what her reps say. I’m sure she was just drunk.

It’s not about owing anyone anything, it’s all about…..’, ‘the fact that you can’t go around saying one thing, then another, because you start losing credibility really fast.

Well that’s good…I think by now most of us have already laughed out the whole fiasco…now I think that should be kept in the past so Britney’s career and music can move.

yeah okay and doesn’t she have a watch so how come she was late and kept the other girls waiting. Not well trained, I tell ya

True, but.. Britney never went around saying different things about the marriage. Her first response to it was on TRL, and all she really said was something like she was in Vegas and it just took over her. Her people were the ones going around saying it was all a joke taken too far. I’m sure she was drunk off her ass, and they said it was a joke to make her not look so irresponsible when she drinks. Like she said, she’s at a point now where she can laugh about it. We all make mistakes and worry about them, but after a while you can sit back and laugh at it.

I still like Brit, but my respect for her has gone down some because marriage isn’t a joke, its not funny and I’m sure its not funny to Jason Alexander… hm.

Marriage is a joke. Over 1 in 2 marriages end in divorce. Don’t give me the marriage is sacred crap. No one even tries anymore.

  9. jazzprofounder says:

she didn’t say that herself…’, ‘actually she didn’t say herself that it was “a joke taken TOO far,” it was somebody else in her family or in her crew that said that. She hadn’t said anything about the fiasco and nothing of that quote at the time. She started talking about briefly about it on TRL, but not saying it was a “joke taken too far”. Just wanted to let you know that.

Yeah, sadly, marriage isn’t taken strictly as a sacred thing anymore. I think its mainly because people just can’t take a lifetime of commitment the way marriage is partly based on. Some people try…some succeed…and some don’t (unfortuantely, many don’t) :(

LMFAO! Sure! is that why the guy from Extra just asked her about her “ring” and she just rudely ignored him and walked off? stupid b!tch. always ALWAYS being fake and rude.

haha I was watchin an interview of this yesterday from the red carpet and a reporter asked: you are still wearing your ring?? she went: my what? he: your ring! and then she just took a quick step and said hi to the next reporter and asked a girl beside her if she could take off her coat and then Brit did.
