Britney Spears Ditched By Columbus Short
News of the World reports that the real reason Britney Spears pulled out of the MTV Awards and her European promotional tour for her new album ‘In The Zone’ was that she was humiliatingly ditched by dancer Columbus Short, who went back to his pregnant wife Brandi in California. “She’s having a tough time,” a source close to Spears revealed. “She’s been drinking heavily, which hasn’t helped things.” Meanwhile, back home in Louisiana, waitress Monica Hales accused Spears of being “really rude” to young autograph seekers when she loaded up on fast food with sister Jamie Lynn. “She wasn’t doing anything special but she told them she didn’t have time and walked away,” Hales said. “I thought that was real mean considering they were kids who probably bought her music. Something was really eating her.”
