One of Britain’s leading art galleries has been attacked by critics for hosting an exhibition of pictures of Britney Spears. The “I Heart Britney” show at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London includes shots of the star taken by top fashion snappers including David LaChappelle and Herb Ritts. Critics have accused the ICA of using the sexy singer to boost its image. But a spokeswoman for record company BMG – which has hired the gallery for the private exhibition – said: “It is the most fitting place in London for a Britney Spears exhibition.”
