Britney Spears ‘Extremely Distraught’ Following Parents Split
The New York Daily News reports Britney Spears was “extremely distraught” last week before the kickoff of her Dream Within a Dream tour opener in Las Vegas. An insider claims, “She was ready to call off the tour. The tour was off, then it was on. It was really tense backstage hours before the show.” Britney has been upset after her mother Lynne filed for divorce from her husband of 30 years, Jamie, which comes on top of her breakup with *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake. Britney’s rep Lisa Kasteler insists she never considered pulling the plug on the tour, “She’s doing what she loves.”
