Britney Spears Foundation Holds Rally Against Cancer
Summit Hospital and The Britney Spears Foundation are teaming up to host The Rally Against Cancer, a cancer screening and awareness fair, on Sunday, March 2nd at the hospital in Baton Rouge. The event is designed to promote cancer awareness and the need for early detection screenings as an important prevention tool. Robert Elliott, M.D., Ph.D commented, “We’re very grateful to Britney and her foundation for supporting this event. The Spears family has been personally affected by cancer, so they know the importance of early detection screenings in preventing and curing this disease.”
