Britney Spears Happily Eating For Two

Star magazine reports that late into her pregnancy, at just 5’5″, has gone from an estimated 119 lbs. to about 170 lbs. – a 51-pound increase, larger than the average pregnancy weight gain is 25 to 35 lbs. But Spears seems to be embracing her new, large self, saying, “I think I’ll always have a weight problem.” Fitness expert Michael George still has hopes the singer can slim down after giving birth later this month. “Britney should follow a diet of 40% carbohydrates, 30% protein and 30% fat,” George advised. “She needs to work up to 45 minutes of cardio six days a week, and some high-intensity strength training three to four times a week.”

Aw, get off her back. There are other stars who have gained that much and more. Let her enjoy HER pregnancy however she sees fit and if SHE decides to get back down to some weight y’all think she should be at then I don’t doubt that she can do it. I am by no means a Britney Spears fan but I truly cannot stand anybody knocking a woman that CHOOSES to become pregnant and will take good care of that child. I volunteer a great deal of time at a Crisis Nursery and if you saw the horrors and the pain and the heartache on the faces of some of these children you would all be giving thanks for how blessed Britney Spear’s child is going to be and not knocking his/her mama.

I LOVE Britney to death but……”40% carbohydrates, 30% protein and 30% fat”? My a$$, that’s what she’s going to be eating!! More like 40% Cheetos, 30% Red Bull and 30% Fried Chicken.

Oh really you fans need to STFU you go around calling people who hate her fat ugly and jealous, then when someone calls her fat you go mad? I don’t care if she is pregnant she didn’t care when Shar was pregnant Britney is a worthless *****.

Kate Hudson gained more then that and she lost it. I’m sure Britney will lose the weight when she’s good and ready to. I agree, leave the girl alone. She’s finally getting to really enjoy food without having to think about performing and her image. She’s already said she may never perform again, that she just wants to be a mom. I think that’s admirable.

I don’t understand what’s the big deal. At this moment in time who cares if she is eating like a cow and gaining a lot of weight, or if she’s going to lose all the weight or not. As long as she’s happy and the baby is just fine, then let her eat as much as she wants and let her worry about the workout stuff later.

she also talked about a future album too, most likely she will take a break though

I actually think she has managed her weight quite well. Not sure if it has been a healthy pregnancy in terms of eating, but that’s her business. I thought she would be MUCH larger than she is. What she needs to do is not worry about the weight and worry about GROWING UP. She’s already made some bad personal choices up to now.

this is so stupid, who cares! I went up to 170 lbs when I was pregnant to and guess what? I lost it all, every single pound by the time my son was 6months old, no dieting, I only went to the gym about half hour a day 2-3 days a week for about 2months that’s it. no, its not that easy for everyone, but my point is, Britney will bounce back if she wants to, she has the money, she can afford a sitter while shes busting her ass in the gym, and she has the financial incentive to lose the weight. I’m sure if we all had movie/music producers telling us, u will make 20 million more doing this/that if u lose the weight, we would all look good too!

true, but we can still look good without being paid for it :)’, ‘That would be cool though lol. But nice to hear that you had no trouble losing the weight from your pregnancy, my aunt was the same way. I think sometimes people exaggerate on how hard it is to lose weight after giving birth, its not that difficult or dramatic as they make it out to be, unless she makes it a habit to continue chowing down as if she’s eating for two lol.
